CISO Stressbusters (via Microsoft)

Published On: August 28, 2020

There’s a wonderful new blog post over at Microsoft today by Rebecca Wynn, Global CISO & Chief Privacy Officer of [24]7.ai and Diana Kelley, Cybersecurity Field CTO at Microsoft.

Their focus is on managing he stress of being a CISO in this day and age. To summarize:

  1. Culitivate your team
  2. Be a good fiduciary with your budget
  3. Measure metrics that matter
  4. Adapt your communication for your audience

All great advice. Of course, items 2, 3, and 4 are of particular interest to us here at TrustMAPP. We think we can help any CISO achieve these goals!

Budgeting? Check. TrustMAPP doesn’t just tell you what your cybersecurity maturity gaps are, it also recommends remediation actions and their costs.

Metrics? You got it. TrustMAPP tracks the metrics that matter to you, from compliance level, to maturity, to time frames to complete assessments and remediate.

Communications? That’s the goal, to enable CISOs to have conversations with the C-suite and the board about business objectives.
