Updates to its Security Performance Management platform also include multi-lingual support
Minneapolis, MN – July 14, 2020 – TrustMAPP announced today that they have released version 3.8 of their Security Performance Management SaaS offering. Improvements include an assessment format and recommendation engine specifically tailored to the U.S. Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The CMMC is a unified standard for implementing cybersecurity across the United States’ defense industrial base, which includes over 300,000 companies. The CMMC is the DoD’s response to significant compromises of sensitive defense information located on contractors’ information systems. CMMC requires contractors to assess and certify compliance with dozens of information security controls.
TrustMAPP is also now multi-lingual, with support for right-to-left languages and alphabets, to support its global adoption. (Detailed release notes are here.)
With the support for CMMC, TrustMAPP is providing DoD contractors the ability to easily understand where they are today as it relates to cybersecurity and data privacy, and where they need to go. Chad Boeckmann, CEO of TrustMAPP said, “We have seen that defense contractors are susceptible to subcontractor breaches. As a result, contracting organizations are seeking assurances from their subcontractors that they are continually institutionalizing cybersecurity and data privacy practices and processes. TrustMAPP automates a large portion of these assessments.”
With TrustMAPP, organizations can distribute out-of-the-box and custom assessments based upon one or more industry frameworks for use in automating and streamlining both the internal and third-party maturity assessment process. Brian Peters, Vice President of Product Management at TrustMAPP noted, “This latest release is a reflection of how cybersecurity and data privacy practices are becoming not only a competitive advantage, but essential in an increasingly global business environment. Support for multiple languages and international frameworks are the cornerstones of our growth strategy.”
TrustMAPP delivers continuous Security Performance Management (SPM), giving CISOs a real-time view of their cybersecurity maturity. TrustMAPP tells you where you are, where you’re going, and what it will take to get there. From a single source of data, an organization’s security posture is visible based on stakeholder perspective: CISO, C-Suite, and Board. TrustMAPP gives organizations the ability to manage security as a business, quantifying and prioritizing remediation actions and costs.
