We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of our Security Performance Management SaaS. We continue to expand our functionality to help our customers achieve their maturity goals. Over the next 6 months you will see increased activity as we roll out more new functionality to help our customers better assess, remediate, and visualize their security maturity postures.
New Ticketing System & Email-to-Ticket Feature
TrustMAPP will be deprecating the support user role and built-in ticketing functionality over the next several releases. In place of it we will be integrating a new ticketing system that will allow us to better service our customers – more to come on this.
As part of the rollout, support inquiries can still be sent to support at trustmapp dot com as usual. All emails sent to support at trustmapp dot com will automatically create a ticket in our support system and allow our staff to efficiently manage tickets. Submitters can reply to automated ticket emails to add comments to their tickets. In addition, customers can submit tickets by going to www.trustmapp.com/support-ticket.
New Framework Support
TrustMAPP has been busy on the framework and assessment template front. Each of our maturity assessment templates comes with a robust set of remediation recommendations and calculations for each level of maturity. In the last 6 months, we have added over 3,000 recommendations to our catalog. New assessments templates include:
- CMMC Process and Practices Assessment – Maturity (All Levels)
- NIST 800-171B (172) – Control-Based Maturity
- NIST 800-171r2 – Control-Based Maturity
- Essential Cybersecurity Controls 2018 – Control-Based Maturity & Compliance
New Login Page and Logo
TrustMAPP has updated the platform with a new login page and logo to reflect our updated brand. (Marketing made us do this.)
TrustMAPP customers now have the option to use Google Authenticator for multi-factor authentication (MFA) along with SMS and email-based methods. MFA can be set up by user roles and enrolling is simple for the user.
TrustMAPP now supports multiple languages including Spanish and French and allows users to use TrustMAPP in their native language. While we are limiting the application to just a few languages for now, we have re-built TrustMAPP to allow for the easy addition of languages as they are requested. The “Language Pack” requires additional licensing.
“Not Applicable N/A” Response Option
Organizations can now configure individual assessments to include “Not Applicable – (N/A)” as a response option. N/A responses follow the same business rules as other responses – meaning that they can be revised, validated, and remediated. N/A responses do not count as part of the maturity score calculations. N/A responses will appear as a black circle with “N/A” in the center to help differentiate the response.
Increased Maturity Scaling from 0 to 5
TrustMAPP can now offer maturity statement scores from 0 to 5. Previously, the maturity scale began at 1; however, due to increased demand for Control-Based Maturity assessments, the 0 value was added.
Industry Benchmarks Report
TrustMAPP now gives customers the ability to view where they stand in comparison to others in their industry. On the Dashboard page, there is a link to view the “Industry Benchmarks” report – click on that link to see where you stand. This report is only available to Company Admins.
Consultant/Client Tenant Relationship
With the growth of TrustMAPP’s partner program, we have further improved our Consultant company profile – allowing our partners easier access to client assessments. In addition, our partners can use their own TrustMAPP tenant to create sample assessments to better prepare for client engagements.
